Not to go into too much detail but I have dealt with women who want to fight or argue over a man that I supposedly 'stole'. Yes...for some reason or other, her 'man' has lead her to believe that I did something out of the ordinary to snatch him from right under her nose. smdh. Anyhoot, my opinion is if he didn't stay with you because I 'stole' him away like a thief in the night, then he probably wasn't yours to begin with. Moving forward, there are some signs that he is not only yours ladies. Let me go ahead and break just a few of them down for you:
If your man has a lock on his cellphone and damn near keeps it away from you...he probably isn't only your man
If your man doesn't give you ALL of the details of where he has been or doesn't bring up the fact that he stopped somewhere other than the store, he probably isn't only your man....
If he is still SINGLE on facebook/twitter....lol....c'mon ladies, lets say it altogether...HE PROBABLY ISN'T ONLY YOURS!
If he gives you excuse after excuse about why he didn't answer the phone, text or come home at a reasonable hour...you know the rest...
Come on ladies, its not rocket science. Now I cant say a man has never cheated on me or the other way around. But there are clues and signs, OPEN YOUR EYES AND SMARTEN UP. A man will only treat you the way you want to be treated. Lets be better than the norm in 2011 and on.

This is such the truth.. I know i could list a whole bunch of other signs that "he isnt just my/your man". But like you said Krys, Men only do to us, what we ALLOW them to do!

ReplyDeleteI agree with everything you said, except I don't WANT another woman's man. If he leaves her for me, what makes me think he wouldn't leave me for someone else? I want a man who has morals and values and believes in commitment. Faithfulness is key in any relationship; otherwise why bother.
