A quick bio: I’m 27 years old, the youngest of four (4) children, and Single. I was born and raised in Belize City and migrated to the U.S at the young age of 12. I earned my Bachelors in Sociology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2005 and I am currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration with a Certificate in Public Management from Governors State University (Aug. 2011). For the past 6 years, I have worked in the Social Service field, giving back to those less fortunate and assisting low-income families becoming self-sufficient in our changing economy. My hobbies include: reading, shopping, traveling, hanging out with family and friends, as well as embracing my Belizean Culture. Outside of school and work, you can find me giving back to the community with my sorority sisters. I am a proud active and financial member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
Future Endeavors: After obtaining my MPA, I hope to relocate to either the State of Arizona or Georgia in order to expand on my work experience, skill sets and possibly pursue my Ph.D. My ultimate goal is to land a management position where I can utilize my education and KSAs on either the federal, state or local level of government. And somewhere down the line of my success, start a family of my own. J
