the STRENGTH of a woman...

I never realized how much I am all for female empowerment, education, self-esteem, building confidence....i guess you can say anything that exudes the confidence, sexiness and strength of a woman. I have so many examples of a' 'strong woman' in my life that the 'inner strong woman' is screaming to pop out. Don't get me wrong, I am a strong, confident and intelligent woman BUT the examples I've seen makes me look like a 6yr old little girl.

Women, please take pride in the power you have. You have so many great qualities. Its so easy to be distracted by men, drugs and other things but take back your power. Go to school, go to work, do things that make you better than the next because you can do it. I may not be the perfect woman but HELL, I try my hardest to make the most out of life. I've gone to college, graduated, had my son, going back to school to make more money and make a living. I do not have dreams of having a man take care of me. Never have i thought growing up that I would marry a prince who would make my life better. I dreamed that I would make my life better for ME.

Anyway, i wanted to make this post dedicated to those women out there. The woman that takes care of her kid(s) by herself with no assistance from their father. The woman that goes to school, work, pay her own bills and don't need shit from a man. The mother that stays home and takes care of her kids 24/7 and NEEDS a break! The grandmother that takes care of her grandchildren because of other people not taking care of their responsibilities. The woman that keeps dealing with the drama of the horrible selection of men in Chicago or elsewhere! lol (that was a slight dig) STAND UP LADIES because it is your day! Have a drink, do a jig and let your hair down. This one is for you. Have a good weekend!

Be true to your heart in everything you do..& the world won't be able to take its eyes off of you.

Mr. Right's only gonna knock on the door of your heart for so long..don't u think it's time to evict Mr. Wrong?

Insecurity can't remember how to bring sexy back. Confidence realizes it never left. ;-)

Sometimes it takes falling to discover your higher calling.

History can only repeat itself as long as you allow it to. Pick up the pen & start writing a new story.

All of these quotes were from @TheSingleWoman

and last but not least:

"I'm very definitely a woman and I enjoy it. "
